My research interests are broadly in applied algorithms, with specific interests in computational biology and networks-related problems.

Current projects include:

  • Pangenomic data analysis: joint with Alan Cleary, Indika Kahanda, Thiru Ramaraj (NCGR) and Joann Mudge (NCGR)
  • Metabolic activity analysis: joint with Daniel Salinas, Ron June
  • Network flow decomposition problems: joint with Lucia Williams
  • Biofilm data fusion: joint with David Millman

Note to Prospective Graduate Students: Students with strong algorithms and math background are welcome to contact me via email about potential opportunities in my lab.
